"Jennifer Chiang made it through one of the strongest fields ever in the Chandler Symphony Orchestra's Youth Competition.

On Sunday the public will hear the 16-year-old flutist perform with the orchestra at the 'Fountain of Youth Concert.' The program begins at 3 p.m. at the Chandler Center for the Arts at Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard."

"Imagine the 'William Tell Overture' played only with percussion instruments. If you're a fan of unsung heroes, Saturday's Chandler Symphony Orchestra chamber music concert is for you.

The concert, Piccolo to Percussion,' will feature ensembles and sections of the orchestra that sometimes don't get the opportunity to be in the spotlight."

Arizona Republic - September 3, 2011
"Almost as if it's looking to ease the audience into the new season, the Chandler Symphony Orchestra will get started with a pops concert.

The orchestra's 2011-12 campaign begins Friday with a performance of lighter fare at the Chandler Center for the Arts. The free concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the venue at Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard."
